BKForge General Meeting

  • Old Stone House 336 3rd Street Brooklyn, NY, 11215 United States (map)

As the weather finally gets warmer, we are excited to gather outdoors for an in-person general meeting! We will meet at the picnic benches outside Old Stone House located at 336 3rd Street (by the J. J. Byrne Playground in Park Slope, between Fourth and Fifth Avenues).

Join us for an informal Q&A to learn about the local Democratic Machine and how it undermines progress on reproductive and gender equity. We’ll be joined by two experts: Elizabeth Adams (previously a candidate for City Council, with experience as Legislative Director in the City Council and in government relations for Planned Parenthood of New York City) and a leader with Rep Your Block (a community-led campaign dedicated to boosting Democratic participation in local politics).

We’ll also share updates on upcoming actions related to our legislative agenda and the forthcoming SCOTUS decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization. After the meeting, we’ll move to a nearby bar for the continued company and commiseration.
