Film Screening and Q&A: ‘On the Divide’

  • Nitehawk Cinema Williamsburg 136 Metropolitan Ave Brooklyn, NY 11249 (map)

On the Divide follows the story of three Latinx people living in McAllen, Texas who, despite their views, are connected by the most unexpected of places: the last abortion clinic on the U.S./Mexico border. As threats to the clinic and their personal safety mount, these three are forced to make decisions they never could have imagined. The 80 minute film will be followed by a brief panel discussion and Q&A, featuring film Co-Director Maya Cueva and BKForge co-chair Justine Dowden, and will be moderated by Caryn Coleman, Founder of The Future of Film is Female.
