The Dobbs decision to overturn Roe vs Wade forever changed the abortion landscape. BKForge is inviting our community to help us raise money for the New York Abortion Access Fund because we believe everyone deserves access to abortion, no matter their ability to pay.
The New York Abortion Access Fund (NYAAF) assists people both in state and traveling from out of state pay for their abortions. The cost of an abortion can range from a couple hundred dollars to over three thousand dollars, and that’s before travel, lodging, childcare, and lost wages are added into the equation. Your contribution will go a long way in helping someone access care.
Join us for a night of music, drinks, and community. Besides the good vibes, we will have snacks, a cash bar, and a raffle. We can’t wait to give thanks to abortion and show NYAAF how much love Brooklyn has.
