What does it take to decide to run for office or a community leadership position? There are great organizations out there that help train women to run for office, but that happens once you’ve made the decision to run. Who are the people you need around you to get to the “Yes! I will do it!” decision?

Join the host, CBID Womxn’s Caucus, and co-sponsors BKForge and Brooklyn Young Democrats to celebrate the victories of women elected to office this year. Connect with women-identifying and non-binary candidates, consultants, organizers, and those who support them to begin building a support structure for running for office or taking on a community leadership role.

Proof of vaccination and ID are required to enter Pig Beach. This venue is accessible.
